I've just spotted flower buds on one of my Liriope muscari! I bought a largeish plant in flower several years ago and divided it into about 6 or 7 pieces. All have looked healthy and grown, but never have I seen a flower - I had no idea division would hold them back for so long! But now the wait is over 😁

Well, I think it's a reason to be cheerful but people growing it deliberately might disagree. Vinca major has suffered badly with the heat or maybe the drought. Anyway, it's coming out root and all with a sharp tug😊
Oooh that’s brightened my day @B3 😄 … I might be able to yank some of mine out … although I’m not allowed to try without OH being here due to the vagaries of my knee and the proximity of rocks and the pond.

Ha ha, I was thinking of posting the same thing! I don't mind a bit of it but not too much... and much of it has died, leaving the odd bit where I don't mind it 👍🏼

My late sowing of climbing beans is beginning to crop, just as the last lot are beginning to slow down.

The leaves are much floppier than usual. It's pretty drought tolerant so perhaps it was the heat.
