Is that a Camellia @Nanny Beach? Lovely.  :)
At least those poor folk in that disgraceful Post Office scandal are getting some sort of justice. The man on the BBC news prog this morning said he hopes those responsible will get charged and jailed - just like he did. They were the guilty ones after all, not him and all the others.
Couldn't agree more, but the cynic in me feels they'll just slip under the radar...like these slime balls always do   >:)

  • Not a lot of consolation for the families of those who were driven to suicide tho' 😡

Indeed @Dovefromabove - many were losing the roof over their heads - losing everything. It's beyond hideous. Frankly, there isn't anything that can come close to making it right, but I suppose an enquiry will, at least,  highlight what went on.
They knew the system was faulty and they covered it up, even telling folk they were the only one with a problem, when they knew that was a blatant lie.  >:)

The only problem is - these things will still happen, despite the usual 'we hope this will prevent another episode like this in future' type of statement that gets trotted out.   :(

What's most disgusting is the woman in charge of the Post Office , was made a Dame and she sacked the guy who dared to mention there was a problem with the system.

Not hard to be cheery out in the garden this time of year.

Snowdrops everywhere, hellebores, iris, crocus, early daffs.  Then all the stuff pushing through - green shoots of later daffs and tulips, buds breaking on roses, rhubarb leaves appearing, some emerging lords-and-ladies to grub out.  Feels great - like spring is not far off!!

And to top it all, when the sun does come out you can start to feel it on your face!

I planted up a couple of tubs to brighten up the front of the house.  The first snowdrop has just opened.

Lots of goodies out in the garden. The daffodils on the edge of the village on the verges are out now. Will try and get a picture. Lots of bird watchers on the prom, very excited. There is an American robin, and some other rare bird, I have forgotten the name of.

@Nanny Beach Lovely! The American Robin that is :) Just looked up the rarity sightings for your area - think the other bird is a Hume's Warbler, which looks a bit like a Chiffchaff.
