    We've had a lovely sunny morning with blue skies ... I've been out in the garden taking pics for the New Years Day Flower thread, and OH has been out on his bike taking pics of I know not what ... I expect I'll see them later  :D

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    My RTBC is that I've been able to plant the tulip bulbs at last. I kept on postponing this task and had almost given up hope that they would get planted this season. The weather was quite nice to go into the garden. There was a robin following me around 🙂
    Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    Christmas & New Year are finally done with for another year. Yay!
    Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border. 

    I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful

    New Year has never been on my radar at all. Hogmanay and New Year are much bigger up here than Christmas, but it's just an excuse for most people to get blootered. 

    I had a simple RTBC today. Dave [pigeon] appeared for his lunch. I hadn't seen him for several days, and I was worried about him, although he often shelters when the weather's really rough, which it has been for several days.
    Silly isn't it? 
    Don't answer that.... :D
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Fairygirl, our friendly pigeon, Tutu, was also here today, hanging around outside the French window in hope of a handout. I also worry if I don’t see him/her for a few days.
