Mmm, cake... can I drop in too, please, @Uff?

Rtbc here is that it has been gently raining for the past two days, when I've been feeling a bit post-Covid-booster-y - so I'm not cross I can't be in the garden.   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

We had rain overnight :). Not much (only a smidge over 1mm in the rain gauge) but better than nothing.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

The final potting-on has happened in the greenhouse. Maskotka & Piccolo tomatoes, Piccolino (dwarf) cucumber & Spangles chillies all now in their forever homes. Unfortunately though I couldn't experience the one thing I always look forward to - mixing all the various composts by hand - cos' my hands are cut-up so I had to wear gloves. One of my few vices - I really like to feel the compost against my skin :*

Growing my tomatoes hard this year. Just 10" pots. Although they were already in flower in their 5" pots. All new varieties for me as well. The Piccolo were extracted from Sainsbury's tomatoes, which I love. Just hope they come true. I've never seen this chilli before either. It has 'strawberry' shaped fruits. We'll see!
    Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border

I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful

The Piccolos come true @VictorMeldrew. This is the 2nd year I'm growing them - having done what you did, and extracted the seeds from the hideously expensive toms my daughter kept buying!
I don't have a lot of room to grow them, and they were very abundant, and quite hard to keep under control, so good value.  ;)
I also used some of the sideshoots to grow a couple  more plants which I kept inside, and then put them out against the house wall, as we were having a very hot summer last year. That kept the crop going too.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Think I'll go for the sirloin ... I might start with the poached egg ... will I have room for a pud?  I could try to squeeze the iced lemon parfait and meringue in, couldnt I ... or the cheese ...
Yes they were on offer Dove and done properly too, none of the microwave tatties, nice crispy skins with salad. Yes Ergates, lots of cakes. I did have a strawberry tart and I brought a piece of coffee and walnut cake home. A whopper it was.

Right then, my RTBC is that I've pruned those shrubs, found one that I didn't know was there, found a honeysuckle that I'm going to train over some old hemp rope and the area is now big enough to have a little fernery in there and I just so happen to have 3 in pots that are desperate for planting out. Oh joy.
