Hooray!  Been sitting on my hands, looking at the greenfly on a favourite rose, brought here as a cutting from my previous garden.  The ladybird I transferred to the rose yesterday was unimpressed by the food on offer.  But this morning the blue tits carefully removed each aphid and the bush is completely clean.  :)

That's what I call team work @Liriodendron.  Works with our garden birds too.  I feed the adults and they clean up aphids for their bairns.

Back in November whilst hen-sitting Scruffy who was isolated in the polytunnel being treated for a severe case of intestinal parasites (thank you snails) I sowed loads of seeds - trees, shrubs, perennials, wildflowers - and stashed them in my mini greenhouses in the PT.

It's taken ages but today I have a teeny weeny abies koreana, a cercis canadensis and 2 eucalyptus rubida to nurture along with all the other stuff that has already popped and been potted on or planted out already.

    Gie's a tune then @Pianoplayer ;)
RTBC today is that the sun came out after all the squally showers, and the washing got well enough dried. The wind did a good job.
The sparrows have been hoovering up some greenfly here. I don't get many at this time of year, but the Euphorbia has had a little flurry. I couldn't understand why one stem of the Aquilegia next to it was looking a bit askew, until I saw Mr Sparrow bouncing on it to reach them  :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Plodding round B and Q in search of boring DIY stuff yesterday. Didn’t actually notice the Muzak in the background, until they started playing ‘Together in Electric Dreams’! An old favourite of mine, put a spring in my step.
