Plumber has been and fixed the tap, just a damaged washer. He's gone now and no mention of a bill.
    Devon.
  • The chives are appearing … beautiful green spikes of lusciousness  … I do look forward to the first dish of scrambled eggs with chives in the spring 😋

The new pedestrian bridge has been finished so I can resume my daily walks through the community orchard and along the farm lane. Much more peaceful!

  • I finished a stretch of digging on the plots.  We are forecast frost then wet and windy,  so glad to have got it done at last.

That's good @Allotment Boy. I started prepping two new big pots to put roses in but undecided whether to plant them tomorrow or wait a few more days to see what the weather throws at us.

We were very amused this morning when two small toddlers spotted us walking towards them in the lane " granny,  grandad!!!" Obviously their own granny had white hair like mine and their grandad a walking stick like OH's.

B3 only asked a question.  No need to be like that about it. :D
