Lost internet in February apparently due to a Russian cyber attack on our Ukraine-based satellite. We waited patiently - weeks became months with promise of a new modem "very soon". This never materialised and we were fobbed off so we gave notice, Found (supposedly) another provider but the engineer stood on our roof and said there was a tree blocking the signal. Husband politely suggested he move a few feet ... he didn't. Another provider said our address didn't exist on their system and could not be manually added - some of the houses are centuries old trulli! Another company sent two engineers out, same palaver re tree blocking signal but this time they had the sense to move a few feet, tested the signal, which worked, moved the original pole and mounted a new dish. Success, after five months without internet - and cheaper than our original supplier
