A gorgeous little baby, @Hostafan1. You must be so proud.

I too loved the  rescued dog story. When stuff on the news is so unpalatable at times, a cheerful little story like that raises the spirits a little, doesn't it?

And another reason to be cheerful here ... we can put our feet up and enjoy some real entertainment in Dolly's birthday week ... and those of us who've had family members protected from Covid's worst by the Moderna vaccine, can say a heartfelt 'thankyou' to her too.

Beyond being the Queen of Country, the pandemic proved Dolly Parton to be a total hero – with her $1m donation to the Moderna vaccine. So, what better time to settle in for an evening of her performances? From Here You Come Again to I Will Always Love You and 9 to 5, Parton’s “at the BBC” treatment is an hour of telly impossible not to sing along to. Sadly, it won’t feature her recent “vacciiine” take on “Joleeene”. Hollie Richardson

I'm grateful to her for her donation, but can't stand listening to her "sing"

I wish my old vac would disappear- I wouldn't bother looking for it neither. In fact, I would gladly hold the door open for it :D.

...with a new one they open the doors themselves... and cook dinner, make the beds, iron, make a refreshing cuppa ...all of that whilst playing your favourite song and filling the air with a combined smell of spring and baking bread....

Sounds tempting @steveTu. In the meantime, I'll make do with my OH!
