These things happen @MrMow … glad to see you back … hope the repair didn’t cost too many arms and legs 🙄

@pansyface there were trousers worn by women for cycling, as an example, earlier than that but WW1 does seem to have been the start of it becoming more common.

Finally getting my computer back from repair, after what seems a lifetime with out.

Apologies to Dove from missing a shout, just another 170 Notifications to go through and some serious catch up. Apologies for any other missed shouts.
Pleased you've got it sorted, you were missed

With all the stories about passport renewals taking 10 weeks or more, my niece and her husband were a bit worried that theirs might not be back in time for a holiday in September.  They were actually back in under 2 weeks, although they did do it through the Post Office.  They weren't originally planning to go abroad this year so didn't renew, but a nice bonus from her work gave them the funds for a holiday.
It has though taken nearly 3 months for a first passport application to be completed for another family member.  That passport has just been received.

I am home from hospital with a new knee, a pair of crutches and a wonderful knee bending machine to do extra physio.   Already a good day then.

The news is even better tho.  Lots of political fun to come then.

Oh, and as far as I can tell, OH has managed the watering as requested.
