Yesterday’s reasons to be cheerful! We went out for our seaside walk, and I still had the energy to finish stripping the wallpaper! All swept up and tidied away, ready for OH to paint.
And we saw two goldfinches on the sunflower hearts feeder! They are as rare as eagles in our garden.

Today is calm [for now] and we had no real damage after Friday night/Saturday's weather.
Definitely a RTBC. It also meant I was able to do the birdwatch, although it was much quieter than it would normally be for the time of year.

Goldies have been pretty absent here this winter @Ergates, but it's been so mild that there's plenty of food round about for them.
Eagles have been rare too ... ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

@VictorMeldrew - I am married to Camel's original drummer!  But I didn't like their music: Soft Machine are my favourites.
Sorry - I've been reading back- this is in response to a post a few pages back!

I have two RsTBC today … I watched the most phenomenal tennis match … and now, yet again, R2 is playing another superb recording by The Divine Comedy … it says everything that My Way says, but with humility instead of arrogance
