One for partners would be good too.

Ideal for me Janet - being a man who can only barely do one thing at a time, let alone two or more, even if I touch a hoover (other brands are available) I'm automatically disabled from doing anything else all day. That's one of the drawbacks of being male I suppose  - but hey - look at all the benefits...

...not that such trees are under threat, just the fact that nature is so bloody wonderful and such living things can have such a life span. We have a yew nearby:

...to think that a tree has seen the move from virtually the Roman period to the present is just amazing eh?

I'm watching a delightful black cap by the bird feeders.

And today I'm watching a Greater Spotted Woodpecker on the bird feeders. What a handsome bird. Golly, he's tucking into the sunflower hearts at a rate of knots. He/she is only a small one so hasn't triggered the automatic shutters. This could become rather expensive.

Lovely to have both of those birds though @Lizzie27 :)
We rarely get woodpeckers in the garden as there's plenty of available habitat and food nearby, but they're certainly about.
My RTBC is that I did another couple of hours outside today, with some painting and tidying done - one of the advantages of this weird, warm winter we're having here.
I don't like it though. Where's our normal sleet, snow and frost?  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
