    reason to be cheerful. 
    In a couple of days  the football will be over, until the next one. 

    Mine to day is a " doggy bag " of cakes, scones and even a tub of jelly from my neighbour who had a birthday party for her girls.

    Maybe not full on petrol price wars yet, but our local ASDA reduced the price of their unleaded by 8p per litre.  A few days later Morrisons which is less than 1/2 a mile away reduced their price by 4p and now are price matching ASDA.  Hopefully just the start.

    Excellent news KY53. I paid £189.9 a litre last week so with luck the next time I fill up it will have dropped further.

    I've just paid £1.899 for diesel.

    We paid £1.91 for petrol yesterday 😭 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    I've just realised I didn't give the actual price.  £1.74 per litre
