Morning folks,OK you beat me on here Dove I was up, dishwasher and light washing done, can't decide whether to put it out,it's sunny and windy at the moment. I have been busy curmudgeon ing!!I have just found my grandsons shoes, right under the back of the computer desk!! He went home in his socks on Sunday,it was bucketing down
Morning @Pat E rain and sun here too. Never seen so much rain here at this time of the year. Along with the indoor eating restrictions it has certainly made life very challenging. If I had known I think I would have delayed the opening until June, but we would never have expected this. People are being very cheerful about it all at least.

Sun is shining but forecast says rare showers and sunny periods.
I'm going to the DIY shop for light blue paint for my bedroom. The white that I've painted so far has made it look much lighter and cleaner. Then I'm going to the SM for groceries and vegetables.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
College for me today - only 3 more days of lessons til the end of my course 🤓
Rain seems to have finally disappeared from our forecast for a few days, and the temperatures are inching up a bit. Is summer about to make an appearance?
Had a lovely meal in a yurt yesterday evening. Still feeling full this morning. The pub is called the Noahs Ark .....and as we sat with the rain and hail lashing into the canvas, it seemed quite appropriate. Pub has been around since the 1400s - so it has seen many things ......
As you can see, they are coping with the current restrictions in style
Morning all, been awol for a bit but wanted to pop in to send hugs and best wishes to you @Yviestevie and to your husband and to Gabriel. Please know your in our thoughts and prayers. X Happy belated birthday @punkdoc, looking forward to seeing pictures when they dry out!
The Noah's Ark in Lurgashall chicky? Used to be our local for years until the landlord had a hissy fit and refused to serve us one night. He decided that if we weren't in the pub by 10pm we weren't wanted - they were open until midnight. As far as I know we were the only people ever subject to that rule and customers who arrived after us were served.
Our little group were perfect customers, polite, regulars every week all year round, ate there regularly and had bigger events there. We reckoned that we collectively spent about £10k a year there. His partner Amy was deeply embarrassed at his behavior but it seems we weren't the only victims of his irrational behavior. The tent looks very much like Amy's work.
Morning all. I am delighted to announce that we now have a window cleaner! Yay! He's given me a very reasonable price and as a one off he's going to clean whatever that is called under the eaves and the guttering too. Oh, and my winter jumpers are washed. Hopefully they can be put away now for next year. Admin. and pricking out the last batch of tomatoes today, cleaning up the workstation in that corner of the kitchen and getting generally ready to get out in the garden from Thursday when, according to Look East, the weather will turn for the better.

So if the promised heatwave doesnt arrive we'll know who to blame
I just looked at the weather app ... rain to stop in 20 minutes ... and then start again 20 minutes later .......... the washing has been draped around a radiator in the study
