Good morning all, how lovely to see the sun and no cold wind. Planted my tomatoes, cucumbers and courgettes out yesterday, I will do the peppers, chillies and augergines today.
Went to SM yesterday and they opera singing there, probably advertising for the Fete de la Musique in June, it was very professional, you would have loved it @Hostafan1! I can't say that everyone did as the aisles seem to empty rather quickly with the noise!
Must go and find my sun hat, I rather think I may need it today   B)

    Morning all,

Hope those that have it get to enjoy the sunshine today.

    Love the moon pic @Hostafan1

Here's my failed attempt from a couple of nights ago. I missed a really good shot whilst getting my phone :( It felt really atmospheric at the time. Very disappointing.

Not here @punkdoc ... it's still chilly ... I'm thinking of putting a pair of socks on ....
Something to ponder on ... if it's too cold to garden in sandals and no socks, is it warm enough to plant my runners ... it'll have to be ... they've been in the coldframe for a week ...

    Good afternoon!
Brilliant day here so far after yesterday had to wear a warm jacket to walk the dog at 4pm!!!

First coffee at the café this morning since September - sitting outside in the cool of the plane trees and dappled sunshine.  Very pleasant.  Old faces - no embracing but nice to see the regulars are still regular!!

Still no water. Really bring home how essential basics like a clean water supply are for life. Will be keeping hands out of butts, too many nicks from kitchen knives to risk that.

Hello everyone.   Been out getting 2nd jab this morning and had to queue this time so it took longer than expected.   Then a raid on LIDL where they had plants on offer - assorted clems for 12€99 and eucalyptus for 9€99.   The eucalyptus wouldn't scan and the fully qualified (not) horticultural cashier decided it wasn't a eucalyptus so refused to sell it to me.  The manager had to come and cancel something else she scanned twice but he couldn't fix the eucalyptus problem either.  She told me I could go back next week.  I said "no thanks".   I really really really dislike LIDL but they do have good wines and salmon.   Sometimes.

After that the usual raid on the SM and that was so much better with friendly, helpful  staff.   And a nice selection of Bumble salvias.  Café not open yet tho there is a terrace.

Late lunch after all the unpacking and sorting so jeans and scruffy top have now been donned ready for some planting out - courgettes and squashes outside and, maybe, tomatoes in the polytunnel.   No doubt the chooks will help me outside.

Looking forward to it warming up this weekend.  Hope it does for all of you too.
