    Morning all,

    Sun here, halleluja!

Bird feeders to be topped up before I leave for work, they seem to have got very greedy lately, or more birds have found us.

Glad the car is a success @Dovefromabove.

Catch you all later. Have a good day all.

We’re planning a run out to the coast @D0rdogne_Damsel ... we’ll buy some fresh fish and get to know ‘George’.
Great pic of your new customers ... hope they bring their friends along next time. 😊

    Morning all.

    Happy Birthday to @punkdoc.

Is George your new car @Dovefromabove? I always think of cars as girls, but my father had Vincent the Vauxhall and Pierre the Peugeot.

We may get some sun today, fingers crossed.

A very HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂 Punkdoc, good morning to everyone. Hubby was a bit worried by a UFO assured him it was nothing to worry about merely the sun! I DID actually see a UFO in 1963, from my bedroom window, called parents and neighbours out to see it. My late father started seeing my parents old nextdoor neighbour the year before he died, she had read in the local paper his second wife had died and turned up on the doorstep, very quickly moved in. The following year he is terminally ill, near the end,I am visiting with my oldest daughter, she asks me about his funeral. I am thinking how sweet,Dr,no, his McMillan nurse said to speak to me and get input. Well that spoilt it of course. Obviously I knew my father better than her,he was a staunch atheist,he hated any kind of fuss, ceremony (he didn't even bother to come to my Registrar Office Wedding. 7 years before) he hated flowers not just at funerals,he thought that they were a waste of time and money. So much for my input, she got a retired vicar to do the ceremony, wanted flowers,my eldest son read the eulogy, written by my uncle,no mention in it of me, the only child or grandkids. I invited my cousin and his wife, partly because I have such a small family,AND my late uncle worked with her late Husband many years. He married her 6 weeks before he died, her son and daughter in law attended,I wasn't even told till afterwards,I give you one guess who looked after him, thought, doing an 80 mile round trip after my night shift!!

Yes @Busy-Lizzie ... his number plate ends in UKE so George Formby sprang to mind, and of course he was waiting for ‘a certain little lady to come by’ 🤣 (not that I'm exactly ‘little’) ... there’s always the possibility that he may come to be known as Georgeous George of course 😉

On a different note, I’ve just seen an obit. John lived not far from my old home ... he taught me much and @WonkyWomble  and her brother learned to ride on his horses. A kind, unassuming and most remarkable man https://www.eadt.co.uk/news/obituaries/carriage-driver-john-parker-dies-7990564

and his obituary is fascinating ... but only touches the surface of the life of a multifaceted man.
