Certainly not!!  Possum has decided she wants to grow some herbs to make tisanes and tinctures for medicinal purposes to help with her depression and menstrual cramps so I've been researching botanical names and cultivation needs to see what I'm likely to find as plants round here, what needs to be ordered online and what we can sow plus where's best to grow them.

Other than that, a busy potter in the garden this pm, potting on cuttings, weeding a small bed and sorting thru pots of this and that waiting to be planted out.  Lots of wee snails and slugs to feed to the chooks.

    Good evening all,

End of a very long day here, but we're ready for whatever they throw at us tomorrow, mostly rain as far as I can see, but we have reservations and very determined people who want to eat out.

French legislation is as ever 'complicated'. If I have 10 tables I can use them all, if I have 11 I can only use half of them....obviously, I now only have 10. ;) I can only let guests use the toilet if I have an 'in' door and an 'out' door, so now they have to exit via another staircase and a cellar....

Moving on.... @Hostafan1 what an angel, the grandson, not you... I am so pleased to see Thomas is still 'in' Charlie loved him and all his engines, in fact he still has a few, although of course he would deny it. He made me laugh yesterday, he complained about underarm hair, shock, horror, but secretly he was proud to have reached that stage.

I can't be with him this evening, I need to stay at the tearoom but apparently, after me explaining to his dad how to prepare his grapefruit for the morning, including not leaving it in the fridge overnight because it's too cold for his sensitive teeth, he told his dad he only has it so that I can have it and not waste the other half.  :open_mouth:

Anyway, I may be absent for a while, hopefully not until October, but I'll be thinking of you all.

Thanks for all the support. I am sure we have a wedding we need to all be present for soon too....hats and cocktails. :)

Well if I lay low it's because there is a criminal case warrant out for me, and as I didn't press 1 immediately I'm expecting a knock on the door any moment.
I won't be losing any sleep over it.🙂

Morning all. Fogged in again. 🙄

We plan on a trip to town today. First time this week for a change.  It makes you feel better in yourself if you see people to nod to or smile at. I think Hubby is probably tired of me trying that on him. 😂😂. He usually has his head bent over his iPad anyway. (Not that I can talk).

Thinking of you for your opening DD. Don’t wear yourself put too soon.  Loved your story about Charlie. 😃

Home from our little trip. Now my back is aching. Not sure why, but  suspect it’s yet another side effect from the COVID vaccine. Never mind, it’ll go away before long I assume.  Sigh!

4.40 and Hubby is sinking into the lounge chair for his afternoon nap, and as usual, just as he starts to close his eyes, the phone rings. 😩
