Yes @Allotment Boy I have so far mixed just the one bag and poured and levelled it. Much easier to work with than the concrete mix but not self levelling so slowly slowly etc.
Sounds great @Busy-Lizzie, especially with not having rain. There's a plant fair at Vouvant on Sunday - one of the plus beaux villages - but we've decided not to go as there'll be no cafés etc open and it's an hour away so refreshments would be needed. Normally we book a table for lunch and have a stroll afterwards.
I have weeded the 1/2m square raised bed in which I planted the rhubarb after the chooks shredded all but two of the strawberry plants in there. Needless to say they all dived in to make sure I'd missed nothing so it has now been watered, hooped and netted to keep chooks and sparrows off it as I planted 6 more strawberries along the two sides.

Right. We’ve had our vaccine and home having a nice cake and cup of tea, and the wood heater is on. Very cold day today. Snow in the snowy mountains region and the wind is coming from that direction.
Good morning all 😊 ☕️ It sounds as if winter’s arriving at your place @Pat E ... at least you’ve got plenty of logs for the fire 😊 Ive been listening to the wren singing among the clematis below this window ... and coffee is on its way ☕️

So chilly here for this time of the year, I think we could do with the log fire on too @Pat E and still raining.
Bread, biscuit and cake making today to put in the freezer and get ahead. Also tweaking the menu and rearranging the freezers/fridges so everything is in the right place where we need it, I counted yesterday, we have 14 fridges and freezers. :0
I have a bulk order of wild bird food arriving too, hopefully today, shelled peanuts and sunflower hearts, grain and fat balls, I don't think I'll have much time after next week to be wandering around GC's to get any. I can't let my feathered friends down though now they have got used to the feeders.

Morning all. Yes, the fire is very comforting and ideal for when I’m sitting with the knitting.
There’s plenty more of the old dead wood out the back Dove, so it’s just a matter of taking the trailer and chainsaw out and doing about an hour or so. It’s also good to clean up the old stuff in case we have a bad bush fire season again. Less worry about where the sparks are going to end up.
Waving to @D0rdogne_Damsel and @Hostafan1 and anyone I’ve missed or who sneaks in while I’m posting or am knocking back the bread dough or in the shower ... I’ve got lots today today ‘cos tomorrow looks as if it might be a bit more exciting than usual ... 😎 🚘 🤫
