Happy Eid @Desi_in_London and I do hope all goes well with your dad's operation. Still very difficult despite lifting of some restrictions.
I have done a dawn patrol, Lupin looks ok again, I have been picking off Lupin aphids and washing all the leaves twice a day. It is a Terrecotta one, I had been worried it was pink as it started to open, but it has settled down now and is the expected Terrecotta, very pretty.
New pergolas have managed to stay upright overnight too, so I am happy about that, I need to try and find a rubber mallet to just tap them a bit further down, need to do it soon too whilst the ground is nice and soft, they will look great once the roses get themselves wrapped around, a bit straggly at the moment.
Coffee Cake making and fishcake making today, trying to get stuff in the freezer so we are ahead of ourselves - 1 week until we open!
Have a good day all.

Funnily enough, OH cut my hair yesterday , but he can't manage it now, so I had to call a friend in desperation to come finish it. Hey ho. Something else taken off the list .
Morning folks, golly Dove, you beat me by s mile. I got up at 6,tidied up the old man's mess, emptied the bin. I had started leaving some plants outside overnight,he put them all back! Yes I did tell him yesterday, they were staying out now, so have got them back out, just sat down for my cold cuppa. Need to get going early. It's my friends birthday this week,we have a table booked for lunchtime (outside of course) just for a drink,at rather quant sea front hotel, lovely gardens.
Gorgeous @D0rdogne_Damsel 😍. Good luck with all those preparations 🤞🏻. Nowhere near lupin flowers here, but plenty of leaves 🍃. It does look like its going to be a good year for my bearded irises though .....they must have enjoyed the baking last summer.
Off to meet friends at Wisley today - hope we miss the showers.
Then a garden club zoom lecture tonight. Maybe the penultimate one, as fingers crossed we’ll be back to face to face lectures in the Village Hall in July 🤞🏻
Came indoors for a cuppa, actually it was 4 o clock and I hadn't eaten since a morning snack with coffee,my border collie was flying around the lounge, skidding on the laminate, couldn't make out what was going on,then I saw it! I have a big pot full of greenery type plants, there was a sparrow sitting in there! It flew into the kitchen, hit the window,I scooped it up,took it right down the garden,it flew off like a rocket.
