HELLO FORKERS 🌷🌷🌷May ‘21

Hello everyone ... a new place to meet and chat over a cuppa while we moan about the weather or glory in the growth of our potatoes and cucumbers, and a place to hold hands in difficult times and head onwards and upwards together ...

Good morning @Dovefromabove, and @Busy-Lizzie and @Nanny Beach on the other thread. Cloudy and cool here, but I am list writing so I don't feel too bad about it.

Waiting till the temp goes up first! Tuesday I went to see my grankids other Granny, (she's lovely, sat in garden coffee, cake and 18c) I texted her last year, said "Oh, you missed National Naked Gardening day", she texted back "Oh, no we didn't" which really made me laugh

    Good morning everyone 😊 ☕️ ☕️ ☕️
Blue skies, bright sunshine and frost on the roofs ... and the forecast likelihood of rain for the next week has increased ... the perfect day for doing some direct sowing ... today we’re visiting MIL but tomorrow I’m going to sow salad stuff ... lettuce, radicchio, radish, beetroot, and maybe some carrots ... and I can start off some PSB for next year ...

Moved my post from April Forkers. Lose track of the days, except I should have realised as it was market day yesterday and I went for the first time.

    Morning all.
Back aches, think I'll take it easy today. May paint another book case.

You know I would @Hostafan1, except OH has arranged for us to visit his mum so I’ll be driving through the Fens ... if I’m nekked they’ll be able to see that I’m not a local and hound me out of the area 😥 ... so this year I’ll be joining you in spirit only I’m afraid 😉

Morning all. Looks glorious out there but we had another frost overnight. Only 4.5c now.
We had showers, blustery winds and sunshine this time last year, I do hope it will improve soon.
I've been up since 5.30 am - most unusual for me and wonders will never cease, I've even done the ironing! I'll get the breakfast for OH a bit later, he's still asleep.
Good idea to take it easy today @Busy-Lizzie.
    Enjoy your trip @Dovefromabove.

Ironing! @Lizzie27 ... what’s that?! 😲.  I think I’ve only had the iron out once since Christmas and I can’t remember what that was for ... 🤣
