Oh dear @Hostafan1, was it for OH? Did one of you have an accident? I hope you can get some sleep during the day.

I went to the market. It was bustling and colourful. All the stalls were there, now that Covid restrictions about essential shopping have been lifted. Glorious day, I shouldn't have worn a jumper. I bought a big, knobbly, orange tomato, a sweet red pepper, a courgette from Provence and a marinated lamb steak from a local farm, enough for 2 meals. I also bought a handbag (zip has gone on the one I was using) and a pair of red and gold sandals. The café terraces were all open and people were meeting. I haven't seen a scene like that since well before Covid.

Sorry to hear about Hubby @Hostafan1.

Hospital has just phoned to say my Hubby can come home. He still can’t speak very well but he will have ongoing speech therapy. I’m looking after the boys today but Secondborn is leaving school early so I can go and pick him up. So relieved

That must be such a relief @Yviestevie and so much better for you both to be able to see each other and hug.   All the best successful therapy and a full recovery.

Hugs to you too @Hostafan1 and anyone else who needs one.

Hugs to you @Hostafan1.  Glad your hubby can come home @Yviestevie - best place for him and a relief for the rest of the family.
I am doing a little happy dance because I now have fibre broadband!  All the wiring done and dusted by the time I got back from my meeting this morning.  No more watching that circle going round and round.  And still some time to get into the garden.

That is very good news @Yviestevie, hopefully your OH will make better progress when he's home.
Sorry to hear you've had more problems Hostafan.
Your market trip sounds a resounding success Busy-Lizzie, I too, need a new handbag so will have to go shopping soon. My new sandals from M&S have been delayed for some reason.
You'll enjoy your farm shop visit Dove, we were in one last weekend on the way up to my sisters, although I was surprised I couldn't get any fancy chocolates there for her.
