Evening all, Lovely and sunny, very busy but have had a very frustrating day with French suppliers - again, weekend food order lost.... pergolas lost, chairs, if I'm lucky, tomorrow, possibly, maybe, can't say for sure. The worst thing is they don't give a flying foobar...Gallic shrug is all you get.
Now I have to go to Limoges at 6am in the morning to C&C to get inferior quality food supplies. Mother's Day weekend and sunny, we're going to be busy, last thing I need. The experience @Obelixx had in Lidl is just another example, they have no clue about customer service/satisfaction. 🙄
Managed an hour in the garden to calm myself down. All very green after all the rain. Best I can say. Early night tonight, new day tomorrow. Good night all.

It's not very exciting anyway, really just an utility path for ease of access. It has been cropped - sorry. That is indeed very frustrating DD. Hope the weekend goes well anyway.
LIDL is the only place I have that problem @D0rdogne_Damsel and I buy very little there anyway so go maybe 3 or 4 times a year. OH had a poor time in Gamm'Vert the other day but that just means they've lost our custom and we have, fortuitously, found a really good Jardiland we didn't know about cos it's tucked away.
I do hope you get your suppliers sorted out. Good luck with your bus weekend.
@Lizzie27 are those 2 pics taken from the same place? Doesn't look like it to me but it's a neat looking path they've laid there.

Trying just once more. There is new paving under the arbour Obelixx, the path goes to the left and then turns round the back and alongside the hedge if that makes sense.
Thanks, unfortunately it's now a bit of a squeeze to get past the arbour, but Tim (my landscaper) was worried about disturbing the roots of the ceanothus on the left and the Claire Austin climbing rose on the right. The levels were awkward to get right as well because of the slope of the garden. Good job we don't have a wheelbarrow as I wouldn't get it through there. At least it will make it safer for a stepladder when I need to tie the rose in at the top.
Thanks @chicky, the irises are gorgeous aren't they. What you can't see from the photo is a large flowered clematis in the middle which is nearly the same colour and they are both under the purple wisteria. If I'm lucky, some years they all flower at the same time.
