Love your new path @Lizzie27 and the irises are just gorgeous. I lifted and divided mine last year and replanted in a different bed and I just have one flower spike.  One more than I was expecting though.
Rainwater downpipe still not done.  The fourth appointment postponed due to weather. But booked in for next Tuesday and no rain forecast (it needs to be dry for the repointing) so fingers crossed.  I really need it done now as I have had to clear my pots away so he can get access and I really want to get on with taking out the winter/spring stuff and planting them up for the summer.  One is going to have a dahlia Blue Bayou as its central focus with a dierama Blackbird and a few other bits and pieces and I'm excited to see how it will turn out.
But another meeting tomorrow morning, so off to bed now.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
it looks gorgeous out there ... love that path @Lizzie27 ... when we’re in charge eh? @D0rdogne_Damsel 😉... in the meantime, don’t let the bs grind you down, and all that 😉  if folk are used to shocking customer service as a matter of course, then your style of doing business must be part of the reason you’re doing so well 😃

    Morning all.

I love the colour of your paving stones @Lizzie27, reminds me of the Cotswolds and southern Dordogne.

Sunny outside. I'm off to the market, see you later.

Morning!  Just saw a beautiful goldfinch taking a sip from the pond.  Like a famous pop star visiting the garden!

Thanks for all the kind comments. The path will weather down a bit so won't look so stark. We are - just- in the Cotswolds so the colours appropriate Busy-Lizzie.

I'm really miffed, just back from our usual walk and it's raining, which wasn't forecast. I've got washing on and had hoped to get it out on the line so that's annoying. OH is quite excited, he's off to meet his mates for a pie and a pint (or two) in a pub. They haven't met up since last summer so a lot to natter about.

We've had an invitation to a Golden Wedding anniversary lunch in Hampshire in August which will probably mean another overnight stay so something else to look forward to.

    Glad you're all organised DD.
    Hi Punkdoc.

it's dry and mild ... almost sunny ..... the tomatoes and squashes are outside and have all been watered ... OH is going to plant the runner beans this afternoon while I drive to the farm shop a couple of villages away .... I've not done that for yonks and yonks ........... we've relied on click & collect with them, and online supermarket deliveries ... but today I'm going to walk around the farm shop with a trolley   :D

    Morning all, but only just.
We spend all night in A&E and didn't get home until 5.45am.
    No further forward though.
