Hi Obelixx. The Roos only eat grass, so we are just as happy for them to help with that. The wallabies are the flower and leaf devils. They also reach up and break branches because they are smaller than the Roos.  Luckily, they tend to be solitary except when there is a baby . 😁

This last year and a bit has been a bit of a disaster as far as my gardening  has been concerned. I dropped my bundle a bit after a hubby’s diagnosis. Couldn’t be bothered, then the drought meant that it was all a bit much.  So not much for them to get into.

Well, folks, thank God I have a smartphone,!!! Was texting one person, then sending a text to another,or so I thought, would have been an absolute disaster, and my name would have been mud. Instantly pressed delete to all, with my Nokia I would have only been able to delete for me,not the recipient. Memo to self, check the name on the screen!!!

I went to Leclerc for groceries and loo rolls. Also went to Bricomarché for a plastic garden chest for keeping cushions for garden furniture. Instructions said 1 person could put it together in 5 minutes, took me nearly 20mins, it just wouldn't click where it said "click". My hands just aren't strong anymore.

Glad you've found a nice lady @D0rdogne_Damsel. Good luck with your opening.

I know it's the "hungry gap" but one potato between us is getting a bit thin.😂

Severe thunder and lightening here, plus heavy hailstorm, sounds like we are under attack.
Suppose there will be more plant damage, to go with the months worth of frosts.

Lovely pics, amazing to see the roos and that lovely sand - and that view @Biglad!  But - don't run for council! I was on our town council for 8 years but couldn't do another term - all the bickering. If only we had had a Jackie Weaver!  They seemed more concerned with observing protocol and generating more rules & regulations than getting anything actually done.  That said - I have a Zoom meeting tomorrow at 10am with people from the town council and the district council (I now chair the local business association so haven't entirely stepped back from civic duties!).  There is a pot of money in the offing so of course everyone has different ideas on how it's to be spent.  Keep your fingers crossed that I win!  Then it will be in the garden again all day.  Happy days.

Best wishes for that Didy.🙄. Our local council is very unpopular around here.  They say they are broke, but I’m sure their wages haven’t dropped. 😏

I can see from the house that our river is wider than my last photo. Must get a photo for my records after visit to my favourite Chiropractor this afternoon. My neck is still not right after my elegant fall a few weeks ago.  I get a reminder if I turn my head suddenly. 🙄

Thats a really big potato Allotment Boy. It would feed the two of us, I’m sure.

Good morning all 😊 the blackbirds started singing an hour ago ... they’re really quite loud now and the other birds are joining in. I think I’ll make a ☕️  ... anyone else ready for one?

looks like it’s been stormy all over the northwest @punkdoc  ... hope it eased off by bedtime.

Hope the chiro eases your neck @Pat E

I’ve got my coffee ☕️ ... now the birds are a bit quieter ... there was a heron being raucous amongst all the mouse earlier ... not sure how a person is expected to sleep with all that din ... wildlife eh!?! 🙄

  • Morning @Dovefromabove .... i was a little ahead of you on the coffee but only just checked the computer ....saw your pic on a different thread re  your indoor studio "green" corner waiting to go out in the garden when its warm enough...hopefully we get there in a a few days. i did put some nasturtiums out perhaps a bit too early  near the roses to keep the aphids off...aphids didn't get the memo about going for those instead of roses and I have some dying nasturtiums to boot! ( or equally likely i just read something off google search and believed an urban myth)
