Morning folks meant to be dry this morning and wet later, showers shown all week, wonder if the old man will be up for a walk with the dogs. I change the bedding Sunday but he'd still in it,have a great day whatever you get up to

    Morning all,

Misty start but a bit drier than yesterday supposedly, fingers crossed. I need to get the last of the bedding plants in on the terrace.

Staff coming in today to CdeG to clean and scub and put things back where they're supposed to be, a chance for new staff to find their way around.

I've been invited to dinner (early because of curfew) at a friend's house, one of the guests is a covid sceptic/anti vacc -er - bit worried about that, he's on a mission to convert us all, if I had known he was going I would have declined. I'm a bit stuck now. Shame, it's the first time for ages I've eaten with friends.

Hello all.  I’ve spent the day playing with my iPad. Head is aching a bit, which we both expected after the vaccine. Hubby had an AGM at the fire shed this afternoon, so I’ve made a slow cooking stew from last night’s lamb leg.it smells ok, so that’ll be an easy meal to serve up.  I’m going to add some red lentils before eating time. They don't take long. 🙄

    Hello @Pat E
My OH had his second jab yesterday ... he has a tender arm and a swollen gland in his armpit, but otherwise all fine do far.
The lamb stew sounds good. We’re having lamb chops tonight with new potatoes and cabbage and mint sauce and gravy ... not sure what time as it depends on when I get back from seeing the car ...
