Good grief you lot - I would have to go into training to rise so early.  Lovely pic of your river @Pat E - and glad your neck is feeling better.  Gorgeous little man @Hostafan1 - you must be excited to see him.  Hope you have a lovely day with your daughter @Dovefromabove (BTW - did you know there is going to be an exhibition of Grayson Perry's earlier pots at the Sainsbury Centre soon?).  Gorgeous garden @D0rdogne_Damsel.  My Zoom meeting went on for 2 hours this morning! But we made headway and I wrote up my ideas for the money afterwards and, the general consensus seems to be that it should be used for what I (and the District Council, who actually hold the purse strings) think it should be used for.  Guy on the town council just doesn't seem to get it though.  Luckily any bid the TC make for the money with his ideas won't win. No actual gardening in the end today - too many emails flying about. But I did do some pricking out of the last batch of sowings.

Morning all.  Sunny clear skies here, but I’m still waiting for Hubby to drag himself out of bed and do his toast and tea so that I can turn the washing machine on and get the first load done. 😡. The wiring doesn’t allow me to use both the toaster at the same time as the washing machine. Sigh!   I suppose I should be glad that he is actually resting/sleeping. He doesn’t sleep well nowadays.  Anyway, I can always leave it on the line for an extra day or bring it in and drape it over the airer.

    Back to knitting.

    Good morning @Pat E.
    I can hear more rain outside. ( 2.30am )
I'm glad your husband is sleeping soundly. I wish mine would.

I’ve just noticed that the trio of Roos are back on our slope behind the house. They must have just watched me taking the pegs out to the line and didn’t try to scatter to safety. 😁 Sometimes the various wildlife do that as soon as they see us through the window. She must be a very good Mum.

Hosta, I think it has something to do with the cancer medication. I can’t even turn over in bed without his stirring and then he is awake. Drives me crazy.    Sorry that your Hubby is also having sleep problems.  That must make it hard when you’ve got to get up and go to work. I can relate to your situation.

Isn’t it strange that both our seasons are out of kilter. We have rain/cold weather predicted and then wake to a clear blue sky. I can’t keep up with it. Hope you’ve managed to get back to sleep now.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Hope the @Hostafan1 household settled and slept again.
@didyw ... local politics and everyone having their pet projects ... I remember it well 😂
Hope your laundry is sorted now @Pat E
It looks like a fairly fine day ahead ... perfect for visiting a gardener and her garden 😊
But first I’ll need coffee ☕️ It seems an age since I went out solo! 😃

    Morning all,

Hope you managed to get some sleep @Hostafan1,
Hope you get your washing dry @Pat E, this weird weather is so frustrating here, so mcuh rain and last evening it was cold and windy again, more like October.  :open_mouth:

Enjoy your day out @Dovefromabove and say hello to @WonkyWomble from me. :)

Supposed to be sunny here until 2pm, then rain again. :( I am going to get the tubs and pots done for CdeG hopefully before the rain comes.
