    Was it weedkiller or nitrogen fertiliser ... that can burn the skin .... or maybe it was both. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    I've been cleaning the 2 spare bedrooms and making up beds, 1 double and 3 single, for son 1's visit. He is arriving in time for lunch on Friday. I have my 2nd vaccination tomorrow.

    @Lizzie27, I agree with Dove, nitrogen fertiliser, it can burn. Poor dog. I have read that golf course greenkeepers have a high incidence of leukaemia, thanks to the weed killers. My friend's husband, who died earlier this year, was a very keen golfer and he had leukaemia, but he was nearly 90.

    Took ages @Pat E as their search function didn't find it in either NSW or "river filling up".   Good pic.  I was distracted by a phone call and then dogs wanting to go out so it took me a while to do.  Have gone back and liked it now.

    Nope.  Just the once.  Haven't done a jig saw online for years.

    Change of plan for dinner.  Possum who loves curries and spicy Thai and Korean recipes says she doesn't like chilli.   Curry then but that means no cheesy scones.  I was looking forward to those.

    A while ago I bought some giant couscous to try but none of liked it - funny texture a bit like much loathed sago of school days.  Decided to try it on the chooks.   Big hit!

    I'm not a fan of pets, but I hate to see any animal in pain.
    We've had lovely steady , wind free, rain all afternoon. The garden will be loving it.
