Oh Punkdoc. I hope your other half starts to feel better soon. Sometimes an early night or even a half hour nap does wonders but it can be very distressing for others. So make sure help is sort if you think it needed though.

I'm trying to decide what I want to do with the pond; I'm torn between letting the grass grow up to the edge or whether to have flower beds around it or... whoever said gardening is relaxing??

Morning Chicky and Dove. Foggy start with sunny afternoon here. Not as bad as yesterday.

we went for a drive to an old cemetery today and took some photos. Interesting.

Pat; my parents house over looks a church yard. They once spent several weeks worrying when a family of badgers appeared to be trying to move in; fortunately no one was dug back up.

Morning all! Monday is my "day off" so I have been assigned my chores and things a housewife must do to achieve greatness, order, and stand a chance of surviving the week intact.

In a way I like the idea if a day to myself to sort the house out. It means I might actually get the room to stay clean for more than I'VE JUST CLEANED THAT SINK OH MY LORD WHY ARE YOUR WALKING BOOTS IN THE SINK??

Keep safe everyone. Remember; if you're undecided about something make a cup of tea. Keep drinking tea until the pressing urgency from your bladder forces an answer.

Morning all. Bright and sunny and blowing a gale with the threat of showers here. Nothing new there then.

That is an interesting cemetry Pat. Looks like the "Paddies" were thriving in that part of the world.  That's an impressive Celtic cross.

Interesting too that in Ireland they would have been very spread out. Kerry and Galway are a right old distance apart and as for the bloke from Armagh...???

I always find that things like that raise more questions. Why were they there? (Did they volunteer or were they shipped out)? image

    Thanks for posting the pics.

glad you enjoyed it plantpauper. We enjoy asking those questions too. I'd say they volunteered at that approximaye date.  In another cemetery there a lots of Scots. I wonder where Hubby's  Isle of Mann ancestors would have fit! Somewhere in between, maybe?
