It was good wasn't it Pat image  most of it wasn't really my sort of stuff , but it was great to see Stevie Wonder joining in via video ... I thought that the young stars acquitted themselves well and some of the older ones revealed that they had matured a bit, at last image

The tree surgeons have just dropped off a load of chippings. The first since January. I thought they'd abandoned me.

Watching older Gardeners world shows. I must be very unfashionable as I do not like grass in my flower beds. And I cannot abide euphorbia eithe so shoot me now!

I don't like grasses in my flower beds either, debs. Look like weeds to me.

Have spent most of the day on my knees weeding and planting. Feeling very stiff, off to take a shower.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

My poorly foot has had a lovely long soak in warm water while I watched Springwatch ... bliss. Now I'm tucked up in bed.

I had a lovely chat with Wonky earlier. She says Hi to you all and please excuse her not posting ... She is quite busy at the moment !... But she is coming to see me next week image

Join the club Debs.  I don't like grasses either with one or two exceptions and loathe euphorbias including poinsettias.

Feeling stiff too Busy after hours of painting and spraying and cleaning.

Bed soon.  Have to to be up early again tomorrow so we can go and see a man about 10 cubic metres of chipped bark - he wants a deposit - and then a raid on the SM before moving the funny wardrobe upstairs where it will get its last coat of paint in situ so it doesn't get bashed going upstairs.
