You're very talented, Pat. Those flowers are definitely alive... ...thank you for sharing the pictures.
Good morning all!
The sun is shining, hubby's off to play golf before taking a rehearsal, so I shall be in the garden all day... bliss. Nobody's due to visit for a bit, so the fact the house is a bit grubby is unimportant - it's due to rain later in the week & I can catch up with housework then.
Clari, hope your cunning scheme for getting your veg beds dug, comes to fruition. A bit of bribery always helps!
Joyce, hope you're not too tired today after your early start.
Best wishes to all!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
My son has just sent me a newspaper article about him and his job. I'm a very proud Mum. He works for a huge firm which repairs and renovates railway goods trucks, in France. He is just about to become the big boss, managing director. Quite a long article with photos.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Lovely pictures Pat. You're very talented and also must be very patient.
I have been awake since 5am and gave up and got up at 7am and have been on the go ever since - watering treasures, tidying up and tying up the rubber plant after taking it out for a good hose down; fixing a light in the funny wardrobe, cleaning mirrors, putting up hooks, cleaning floors and playing with kittens and dogs. Fading now so a fresh pot of coffee is on to brew.
Slightly cloudy today and just the right temps for working. OH is trimming long bits of bramble form our mixed hedge - secateurs in case of birdies so a long, quiet job.
Clari - hope the "carrots" method works on your OH. If not, just hide you car keys till he's compliant.
Haven't read back so greetings to all and have fun, whatever you're doing.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I really want to thank those of you who made suggestions about helping my ongoing psychiatric care [ special mention to Dove ]
Upshot is, armed service organisations will not touch me, understandable as, firstly they have so many of their own to look after and I have never been in the services.
However I have been put in touch with a guy who is ex-services and now works in Chesterfield [ very local to me, in fact closer than Sheffield ]. He is very happy to take on my care as long as current consultant refers me, which will not be a problem.
I shall continue to have CBT at my old hospital, as although stressful, I have had a relationship [ professional ] with him for nearly 10 years and that is vitally important to me.
Thanks again and sorry to bore you with this saga, which I probably should have done by PM.
