Ruby, too much kneeling isn't good for your knee.

OH wont be home for a few days unless there is a marked improvement in his urea level......problem with kidney function. Go into hospital with one problem and another one is discoveredimage

Weather is still very muggy here. A good overnight downpour is needed to clear the air.

Joyce ((hugs))  sounds so much like a spell of ill health my Pa went through several years ago following his hip op .... once they'd got his levels right he was so much better.  Hope they can send him home soon image

Evening. Special shout to all those with ailments or worries. I hope the warm weekend will reach you all and lift the spirits.

I have a fair few garden jobs planned this weekend - but I must make time to just sit and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of it all.

Versailles now then GW in bed... nobody give away the Jubilee Plant winner!

My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Not giving the Jubilee Plant winner away but it was the one I voted for!

We have had a lovely day at La Rochelle being touristy and strolling round the old harbour and back streets and a garden with knitted socks for the trees - done by patients in the hospital - and the cathedral which is Roman style rather than gothic but very light nonetheless.  Lovely fishy lunch and then a quiet dinner out in the garden watching the sun go down and the stars come out.

Haven't seen any TV or any news and I give up on politics in general.   Too depressing.
