Evening June people. Is it officially Summer now??
Hope everyone is doing ok and nobody is trampolining if they are not allowed ?
Finished a work project yesterday so looking forward to clearing my files away and cracking open a bottle of something fizzy over the weekend ?
The Champions League final is in Cardiff this Saturday so the city is all full of road closures, barriers and security gates - total mare for anyone who lives or works in the capital and surrounding areas and hates football ?
Yes I think you are correct Clarington - is that the 'longest day'? I think 'meteorological' Summer is said to start on June 1st so we can have Summer a bit earlier that way! Thinking about it - it's BBC Springwatch this week so that confuses things even more!
I think the Beeb is a bit late with springwatch but if they did it any earlier they wouldn't have a lot of babies to look at.
Definitely summer here. We have been to dance class. Jolly hot doing an hour of quickstep, rumba and samba so heaven knows what it'll be like for the next 4 weeks of class.
Off again GWRS? You've only just got home!
Liri - sounds like fun. All my jeans have kitten damage from Cosmos climbing up my leg. He has a thing about my hair elastics so would climb up my leg while I cleaned my teeth before bed, hoik one out of the basket on the shelf and go and kill it. Now he's too big and heavy at 8 months so waits to see if I leave one by the bedside. Hasn't worked out that he could jump! He also has trouble retracting his claws and I'm forever rescuing him form things he's stuck to.
Nearly time for bed. Sweet dreams all.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

So Tangoman Trump want to reinstate his Muslim ban. Funny he didn't do it last week BEFORE he went hawking his *ss to Saudi Arabia. I wonder , given the number of gun killings in the USA if they shouldn't ban white christians . He's now pulled out of the Paris climate change agreement and here in UK we have Theresa Me Me Me who , in a "strong and stable" way, is too much of a coward to take part in a live debate so that " ordinary working families " can see how she copes.
Feeling very lethargic the past few days, also my sugar cravings are back in full force. Not good. It has reminded me that the gP doesn't seen to have requested a bi-annual diabetes test this year like my old GP used to do. I wonder if I can get past the receptionist.
More sunshine, more exercise, more fruit, needed of course.
Today at work I will be battling with IT support: lovely chaos they sent me all my equipment yesterday but I had a few issues.
1. No power supply for the laptop. In terms of being a big issue; this is a big issue.
2. Our office was designed long before technology became so plug socket heavy! Looks great on my desk, very professional, but theres not enough extension leads to plug everything in!
Still, wait til they see what my audit produced to be returned to them; amongst other things ELEVEN NOKIA BRICK PHONES. Brought in 2007 and left in a cupboard when they were replaced. I bet if I turn them on they'll still have half a battery left!

Tucked up in bed - have a restful night everyone. Hope Pdoc gets his Puter issues sorted soon.
Sweet dreams
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Morning all when you wake up. It's cold, calm but sunny here today. I feel rather housebound, but will make an effort to get out soon.
