Looks like there's been a lot of tactical voting.

Lets see what happens next ...

I think that's what's happened up here Dove - and, although I don't agree with it, I can understand why it  happens.

    I'm saying nothing else.....

Couldn't agree more re the prescription thing. It might seem like a good idea, but when you can buy things like aspirin/paracetamol etc for buttons in any  supermarket but people are getting them for nothing in a pharmacy - where's the logic in that? I can understand your frustration Debs.  I'm very fortunate that I don't have any condition that means I have to take any medication, but couldn't we, at least, return to the method of having a cap on an annual amount? I know several folk who were in that situation, and it seems a sensible one, with everyone else paying a nominal amount.

More likely her party won't let her, I suspect. Because what is the alternative. BoJo anyone? No? George Osborne then?

    Hi all.

    My bed is calling me.

I know gloating is unseemly, but the result in my constituency was historic and totally unexpected.

Problem is the country will now be in total chaos, perhaps I should have been more careful what I wished for.

Laptop is about to be whisked away, may see you later.

    Morning all.

I'm not surprised by the result. I don't think it has to do with Brexit, it's because of Social Security cuts etc. May comes over as arrogant but I think that is because she was trying to look strong. Don't forget that she was for remain and then ended up having to negotiate Brexit, a difficult position. But I would not have voted Tory anyway, although I felt a bit sorry for her. Can't see why anyone wants to be a Politician!

    BL says

"May comes over as arrogant "

and she's had a " strong and stable" slap in the face and the EU negotiators will be forming a queue to do the same.

Didn't lose Internet and only had a very short, seconds only, power cut, but there was a very strong wind last night. Didn't rain as much as the forecast said.

Going shopping for the Strawberry Tea this morning, but first I must plant a big blue geranium, bought in England, and the 3 cleomes that I grew from seed.
