Obs, I had to resort to Google too. image

Cotisol is said to be related to sleeping, so maybe we're onto something on that front.

To be honest, my back is fine at the moment , they just noted that the discs are on the thin side and a bit arthritic.

Old age, a lifetime of being overweight and too much gardening ( if there can ever be such a thing ) might be to blame for that I suppose.

Thanks again for the kind words folks. Means a lot to me.

    Devon.

Hosta, I'm afraid that age takes it's toll along with garden related aches and pains.

It would be excellent if they found a link and a solution between cortisol and your erratic sleep pattern.

Hello from daughter 2's. Just put my GD and GS, 7 and 5, to bed. Took longer than it should have done because we got carried away with bedtime stories. 9.30pm here. Daughter and SIL are out for a meal with friends. Tomorrow is GD's school play which I will be going to see.

    Sounds fun, BL.  image

Glad you're getting a step or two closer to a diagnosis, Hosta.

I doubt there are many of us 27-year-old lifetime gardeners without a touch of arthritis somewhere or other...  image

Goodnight all. Ever closer to opening day and exhausted but excited. Daren't read back too far, need sleep, but hope Hosta's ails can be cured and GC play goes well tomorrow for Lizzie. I am directing my classes on Saturday and squeezing rehearsals in between CdeG tasks. Had a London bus in the back of the car tonight - don't ask - Wheels on The Bus is a key number. imageimage

Just ordered an extra large freezer, I am having proper English bread for sandwiches and need the storage space for it, only delivered once a month. image

Must sleep, hope everyone is ok. Good night. image

Leclerc sells a sliced loaf called Toastiline 0% sugar which is better than most French sliced bread, which is American style and has too much sugar in it.
