Right, I've given and turned the heating back on.

Last week it was 34C, today it's 13C. I know which I prefer.

Some people feel the cold more than others ... I have a thin 3/4 sleeved boat necked top on, with linen trousers and bare feet (well, one bare foot, one in a big black boot ... but that's another story).

OH has a long sleeved thermal tee shirt, another tee shirt  a cardigan and a big fleece-lined Aran jumper and jeans, socks and trainers on ............ we're both in the same room and we're both comfortable image

Put ours on as well about 1.30pm.

as for automatic cars, I mostly drove mine manually.

    Me to Hosta.

Have resisted putting the heating on, but I have got a fleece on, which is not something I believe you should need in summer.

Joyce thinking of you!  The hospital food sounds better than you'd imagine.  I'm really pleased he is enjoying the food, simple pleasures are so important.

Obe _ I'm pleased to hear your daughter has come out of a difficult relationship.  Altho' she could be vulnerable right now.  I had two disastrous relationships when I was younger.  They were both manipulative but kept that side of them hidden, well for a while.  I was much relieved to be free and appreciated my family.  Rose tinted spectacles do girls no favours.  I hope your daughter will be feeling more confident soon.

Dove, Lori, Dad has never had a diagnosis.  He's had various treatments and sleep studies but we're still not able to have a diagnosis.  They say it is neurological and Dad just blacks out without warning.  We don't have any assistance because of the lack of diagnosis.

On a cheery note managed to get my fix of Bondi Vet, always love the programmes about animals!  I hope you all have a relaxing evening.

    Evening all.

Well I can safely say that I made a BIG IMPACT in my meeting today.

Not all good, well unless my staff like working from home in their pjs, but still... all constructive (or at least it will be once I've swum through this almighty river of poo to retrieve the office paddle that was carelessly thrown out by the previous manager).

Still; safe to say my bosses will remember my name.

Tonight is all about letting my brain rest a little!

Thank you all on Possum's behalf.  She knows now that she's well out of that relationship but her confidence has taken a big knock.   Even now she's doing well she doubts herself but in between exams and results she took off to Rotterdam on her own to explore and met some lovely people and had a good time and stayed safe.  Small steps, but important.

Mega cleaning and furniture shifting day today - with help from Cosmos who thinks I can't manage making beds on my own or cleaning floors......   We now have a dining room!  Won't last long tho as it's also my dance practice floor.

Hosta - both our cars are automatic because, whilst having the initial problems with slipped lumbar discs and trapped nerves, I couldn't always manage the clutch movement on the old cars.  Kind of important.   Now I have to master cruise control on both of these - same car but different years and models - as the local gendarmes are not forgiving.  2 x 45€ fines for 1km excess!  They both fit dogs, baggage, clematis, other plants and sundry DIY and garden bits which is the main thing.

Clari - sounds like fun but try not to frighten them.

Dove - Love a crumpet but in winter.   Not now, tho I did find while cleaning today that 2 radiators had decided to come on so I have adjusted their thermostats.

Busy - bits of rain here but not a lot.   Maybe we'll get the promised downpours if I clean all the windows in the morning while OH is fetching rellies.

Joyce - glad OH is being looked after so well.  Comforting for you.

    Good night all.  Sweet dreams.

OH has to go away for work next week and a rather slimy colleague suggested they should just book one room to save money.

    OH's reply: " no thanks I've got Thrush ".

I think she would like me to go with her in future.
