    Good morning everyone

Cats have been downstairs for some tuna and have once again retired to bed.  Sometimes I wake up with a cat laid across my chest purring image   Dad's post operative check up today.  Varicose vein problems and had some of his veins stripped under epidural on both legs.  He had the first op when he was 17 (already met and engaged to my mum).   Just popping to get some breakfast mm blueberry shredded wheat.  Check in with everyone again later x

It sounds a bit scary Rebecca, but I assume they know what they're doing.

Thanks Clari for your kind comments.

    Morning all.

Dropped off around 1.30 and awake again around 6.30, so not a bad night.

Pat can you post a bit of a close up of your wonderful paintings? They're fantastic.

Clari, which car is he getting?

I've had varicose veins since I was in school, but "they" don't seem to want to do anything about them. What a wreck I am eh? image

Hosta it's the AUDI A6 5.2 S6 Avant Quattro. Its a nice enough car, doesn't appeal to me but then I'd rather be in my Defender so speed, memory seats, and sixty billion buttons are rather lost.

I was once asked to list *everything* that was wrong with me for a medical form for a minor procedure. The nurse accompanying me chortled when I pointed out that if I were a car I'd rather been declared cat B write off. Still; keep on rolling on!

Chess is being added to the curriculum to help with maths and problem solving. I rather like to see children learning fine finger coordination, how to win, how to loose, with a hands on activity. I never focused well on a white board.

This is the best I can do with my iPad. The paintings aren't very good, just a little play this afternoon to get my hand in again. Also I usually use hot-pressed paper but this just a cheap sketch pad, so the edges are a bit rough.

    Also, they are both sideways.

This the branch I picked for a study.
