    Morning all.

We went to bed earlier than usual and the fireworks from the village fete woke me up at quarter to midnight. Could see the high ones over the trees.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all☀️

What a coincidence Fidget - sounds like your friends daughter enjoyed it image It is going to be tough Obxx, but mixed with excitement for her too. Pat, some of the Uni's here run international exchange programmes, so for every student that goes there will be one from Adelaide going somewhere else.  Chicklet has friends going to Singapore, Germany, Nice and Philadelphia, so its a worldwide thing.

Off to London today for a special lunch with Chicklet - she was given a voucher for a South African restaurant in Camden for her birthday many months ago, and so I am being treated image

Best go and get some gladrags on - might noodle with you lot later on the train ?

    Hi campers.

Another late night here, enjoying Glasto.

Loved Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl is a great front man, unlike some artists, he actually interacts with the audience.

Day of quiet contemplation in the garden, to prepare for the last night.

    Have a good day all.

Hope our snoring didn't spoil your enjoyment Pdoc image  We fell asleep before Foo Fighters came on image  I know, we're lightweights image  Good job we recorded it .

We went up to bed and were serenaded by Bananarama and Tony Hadley who were performing in the park not far from here.

Sounds like theres a musical theme here this morning / last night.

I dont usually sleep well either. Last night was an early night and just amazingly dropping off (I think if I go early I get to sleep better) but shook out of my near slumber by text telling me the news of the day re MIL whos in hospital, all was good. Then tossing and turning until 3 ish.

Getting through the ironing before doing any gardening. Its a cold wind out there today. OH out on his bike before continuing the decking.

We've had rain!   None forecast till Wednesday at the earliest and then only local showers but we are wet - and cool.  Not enough to soak in far but better than nowt and let's hope there'll be more.

Bad night with dreadful cramps so only just surfacing.  I suspect the diet Tonic mix for our soda fountain hasn't got the quinine so will have to go back to making a mountain of plastic bottles.   Maybe find a way to recycle them myself so they don't end up in the oceans.

Chicky - Adelaide is a lovely town with a great covered market and some lovely buildings too and close to the beach and Hardy's wines....   Hope she has a great time.

Liri - I shall go and look at your photos now.  Thanks.

Dove - you'll be doing heel spins by the time that boot comes off.  Hang in there and heal properly.  My broken toe still twinges at me.

Hosta - maybe just accept your sleep patterns are cyclical and relax when you can't sleep?  May help you sleep better.   Any results form your scans?

Greetings to all not mentioned.  Have a great day.
