    Been cleaning all morning including making a  space in the garage for friends' car when they arrive - it's a soft top so will get sunburn - so the last of the painting bits are now in the annex for their last touches.  Al showered and clean myself now and a leek and goat's cheese quiche in the oven for lunch.

    No gardening for a few days apart form watering pots every day.   Scorchio here but not humid.  Love it.   Might even do a bit of sunbathing or just a siesta later on;

    DD hope your meeting has gone well.   Sounds like it's all coming together well.

    Joyce - how is OH?  Home soon?

    Dove - keep that boot on at all times except for bed and shower!

    Hi to everyone else and hugs where needed.

    Seriously - had 2 new feet and the boot is essential to good healing.

    I haven't read back yet. Worn out from our trip to Canberra today. I sat on the lounge with a cup of tea when we got home and had hardly finished the tea when I nodded off. I woke up with the iPad slipping off my lap and woke Hubby on the other chair,image .

    fog all the way, as we expected.

    Home for a couple of hours. OH not very good this morning and to have intravenous fluids. Looks as though he may be in for another few days.

    LP,  it has stayed dry here which is good as my grass man has done all the grass and edges and is now digging out holly sapllings. They were under and through a large shrub which has been removed.

    Afternoon all.

    We now have a "smart meter" I am sure my OCD will go into overdrive now and I'm even planning on keeping a diary of usage.
