Surely three should be a more progressive tax system, so that people like me and those considerably richer should pay more for the services that the country needs.
The NHS [ probably my only area of expertise ] is under more strain than at any time, during my adult life.
Nearly all of us will need it at some time, so those that can should pay more for it.
Sorry, I will try not to campaign anymore today.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
had my visit yesterday, half way there. Vision back to normal and pressure down.
I can't speak highly enough of the NHS, they have helped my family many times but I do feel there is a lot of basic budgeting needing overhauled. E.g. My eyedrops from the optician were not used as the hospital chose a different one. Pharmacy couldn't take them back even tho unopened. Now that is crazy!
I have voted ever since I was 18, not that long ago, as my grandmother told me all the suffragette stories. In Australia it is a legal requirement to use your vote and you can be fined if you don't
Hosta how nice to be appreciated.
It is so wet I can't even get out to have a look. All my poor poppies? Nothing compared to many of you

The pharmacien here in the local village told me that in France everyone is asked to bring their unwanted used and unused medicaments to the pharmacy. They are then sorted and disposed of safely or sent to 3rd world countries if they are in date and unused.
I've finished the greengage tree bed, weeding, and planting salvia farinacea, isotoma and rudbeckia "Tiger Eye" where the daffodils were. Started weeding the lower trellis bed.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Like Busy, I lost my vote after 15yrs of living in Belgium where I could vote for the local council and the EU but not parliament cos the Flems vetoed it thinking all the expats would vote for French speaking parties as they can't speak Flemish. Going to vote is a legal requirment but many spoil their papers in protest at the system or politics in general.
Was a wake till 5:30 this morning with cramps and busy-brain-itis so feeling a bit bleugh today but have done some painting of the wall. More painting after this coffee break.
Sunny here with cloudy bits and quite pleasant. I hope things brighten up in Blighty for the weekend.
Well done Busy and DD for the china tea cups. Great idea.

I think everyone should vote, but there has to be a "none of the above because I don't agree with any of them", although I think that position is often filled by Monster raving loony party. T'other half never voted as he thought that all politicians were pigs with their noses in the trough. His sister used to work for an MP in the constituency office.
Very little on the news about the people going through the poles.Could do with some stability In our small island .Hope that whatever the outcome we get some political and social stability.
Weather settling down a little. Some sun peeping through the clouds.?
I agree. Do I vote for the ones that want to bankrupt my industry, or the ones that just want to bankrupt me? The homophobe with the invisible friend or the 'means well but clueless' bunch? Or the racists? At least I live in England so don't have to pick between assorted religious fundamentalists or consider a narcissistic cynophobe.
I miss the Monster Loonies.
Then again it makes little odds 'round here. Too many 'I've always voted that way and always will regardless of policies' people.
Sigh.
Yes yes I'm going. Just don't expect me to like it.

Ruby - lovely image conjured of people going thru poles at the Polling stations. Beats hoops. Just watching BBC News channel and it seems they're more concerned about Corney making Trump tweet than people voting in the UK.
RG - sometimes you have to go for least worst or maybe just spoil your paper.
Joyce - glad you got a good sleep. Having a day off tomorrow. We're treating ourselves to lunch out by the sea and then, after a brief interlude with a tree surgeon to discuss removing damaged ash trees, we're off to a music festival in the village.
Busy - you sound busy! Hope you get it all done without knackering yourself so much you can't enjoy your tea. Good to know that French pharmacies also take back drugs for safe disposal.
LP - glad your eye is recovering and that you've been looked after well. Have to agree about unnecessary waste tho.
Hosta - lovely clems. What a thoughtful gesture.

In Scotland, pharmacies take unused medicines back.
