    Morning all.

My neighbour leaves for work at around 05.45 so I have trained him to toot as he goes past to waken me. image It's stops me hitting the off button in my sleep. image

Lewis Hamilton is an unpleasant little oick. There are few more objectionable little gits. I thought I was the only one who thought so but I heard on the radio t'other day that he is really disliked despite all his success.

I have no opinion on Lewis Hamilton ( I've never paid him enough attention to have one ) but I suspect he falls into the group of people who make so much money they surround themselves by "yes men" who never say no to them.

Madonna ( more up to date "stars" can be substituted. added here ), premiership footballers. Donald Trump and the like.

Thinking of you Joyce pleased you have had some rest.  Dad not well again today.  He has blackouts and falls without any warning.  Sometimes find him on the floor collapsed.  Not able to lift him, so get him a pillow and wait for him to be able to get up.  He has alot.of aches and pains from these falls.  It's as if his brain just cuts out.   It's affected his independence and can no longer go out because he could collapse in the road.  I feel very sad about it.  Just made him a drink and we are watching the news together.  More about Grenfell other people who live near the foot of the tower have also been moved out but still come back during the day to feel some community.  It's reported that most of the cladding across UK will have to be removed as materials used fail the combustible testing.  Looks like winter outside quite grey and raining and much cooler.    Will need to replenish some food store basics today.  The cats are more lethargic today they tend to sleep in a heap when the cooler weather arrives.

Rebecca - sorry to hear about your dad. Fortunately he is with you and not living alone. It's a worry for you.

    Morning all.

Glad you got some sleep, Joyce.  Hope you find Hubby comfortable when you visit.

Sorry to hear about your dad, Rebecca; do you have any help with his care, given that he falls a lot?

Raining again this morning but I'll have to go and pick the strawberries and raspberries... full wet weather gear needed for the rasps I think.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
