Meant to say - best wishes to Chicklet for her last few A-level exams.  Is she celebrating when they're over?

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Morning all.

Has rained a lot but there haven't been the strong winds they forecast. The garden and I are happy and relieved. But the forecast is for more rain, storms and strong winds tonight.

OH is going to England again tomorrow, to see another old friend.

Morning all . Thinking of you Joyce x.

oOh not good this morning . Had one of his strange episodes . Confused , dizzy, wobbly . Blacks out every week. I was unaware of this going on this morning. Lovely daughter was here and dealt with it while I slept .

All those under the weather take care .want to get into garden , no chance today too wet.

     Occasional flights into reality. B)

It sounds as if Ruby and Rebecca should compare notes ....

Sounds like a TIA ... Pa used to get them .... Transient Ischemic Attacks .... a sort of mini stroke which seemed to have no major lasting effects.

((hugs)) to Joyce and everyone else going through difficult times.

Fer-diddling down here too .... the butts are full ... you can turn the taps off now, whoever it was who turned them on!!! image

Problem is, no gardening and no tennis either image

I will send OH to the shops for the small roasting chicken Pdoc didn't buy for me yesterday (didn't he see my shopping list?)  ... we'll have lemon and tarragon chicken with new potatoes and  braised chicory.   Maybe a bottle of rosé, just to stick two fingers up to the weather and pretend we're in the South of France image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

We are going to pretend it's sunny too and have a home made pork pie and salad before OH goes to choir practice.

There is a gap in the clouds. I've been cutting down old geraniums that have flopped and OH is edging the long border. He does straight edges better than me. I do the curved ones. But this hot weather encouraged flowers to come out early that should be out in July for my Open Day and they will be over and the heavy rain has made things flop, even supported plants.

    Sorry Dove.

I am terribly forgetful, considering I am only 27.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team
