Absolutely Fairy ... Strangers reaching out to help strangers with no thought to themselves ... They are the heroes.

I woke in the middle of the night Dove, and made the mistake of putting the tv on. I wept for those people. What should be a fun night out for (predominantly ) kids turns into that. My colleague at work took her little girl to one of Ariana's concerts a couple of years ago - she's just turned 12. That's the kind of age, and younger, that go. Beyond all reason.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Feel a mixture of sad and angry this morning. This is devastating for our country - so many families and people will be torn apart and in turmoil now - awful.

    Take care everyone.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

I have seen most things and thought I was becoming immune to the worlds evils.

    I am not.

    Morning all.

    Happy Birthday, Clari.

Have a lovely day in Chelsea, Chicky. Look forward to the pics and let me know, please, if the quarry garden is better than I think it is.

Saw the news this morning. Just so sad and scary, don't know what to say.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hello all.  Dreadful news to wake up to.  Some people are beyond despicable.

I'm now waiting for a train - any train - to get me to Leeds, for my connection to London.  Set off an hour earlier than anticipated because we're on the line from Manchester Victoria so the trains are terminating in Rochdale and shuttling from there.  My woes, however, are tiny in comparison with the main picture.

    Have a lovely day, Chicky!
