I laughed But I quite like Nicola Sturgeon although I don't agree with her, she's feisty and I think she thinks she is really doing her best for Scotland.
Hello Rosemummy, I wonder if the little one put his trousers on or went shopping without and got cold!
The sun went in, it got chilly, well it already was, only 2° this morning, so I still haven't gone outside.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I saw a photo of the sturgeon next to one of Jimmie Krankie yesterday. Spitting image or what.
Re the arguments. Over a year or two we have lost a lot of forum members. Many of whom I miss. I think everyone has a part to play and something to offer. A larger forum has a much bigger joint knowledge base. Just stop the wind ups and bickering. It's not necessary. If you don't like someone just press the Ignore button.
Waitrose have just called to say I've been taken off driving duties until I've spoken with " Occupational Health" Funnily enough ,they want me on checkouts all day Saturday. grrr. No more overtime from me. Too much time on check-outs "does my head in"
Yay! We have wheels!!! A fuse has been replaced in a very hard to get to place ...... of course if it goes again it will be because there's another problem but the suspicion is that the fuse had been weakened by a problem with starting last year. Fingers very crossed.
Hosta - that's as it should be until they know you're safe to drive- remember the Glasgow bin lorry tragedy. Best get to the GP asap.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Fidget like the joke - although I can't agree that Scotland has gone to Hell - far too special and beautiful a place and people for that. However, the punch line could end up being a bit too close to the truth if Wee Jimmy isn't reined in soon.
Sorry - we've had enough aggravation on the forum this week and I don't want to spoil this thread with my political views but she does make me so bl@@dy cross.
Back to normal stuff:
Just been rained (hurrah!) off from yet more weeding and mulching.
Hosta - hope you get a swift diagnosis and all clear so you don't have to spend too many shifts on the tills.
Dove - glad the car was fixed quickly
Lesley - sorry to hear that you're going through a difficult family time. Look after yourself as well as everyone else
Rosemummy - a bit too chilly for naturism today
Forgotten what everyone else has been up to - hope it's all good
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Well it comes in with one hand and goes out the other.
My complaint about the time it was taking to transfer my pension had two effects. It was transferred three days later. Today I got an apology for their poor service, it will be used as a training exercise apparently. I also received a £200 cheque by way of compensation
The garage phoned. My car failed its MOT with another broken spring, and it needs a new tyre. So the £200 and more besides has just gone out again. Apart from that it's good for another year.

GP Friday 9.50am.
I've never passed out, thankfully, but it's pretty dramatic when it happens. It builds up slowly so I'm aware of it.
