Topbird glad you feel better, it's been a nasty one this bug hasn't it?

Fairy we have tried many times, and in many places but the effort required and the disappointment over the years have not been worthwhile   we had two that were doing well in pots in the courtyard but two naughty puppies had fun one dayimage

    have a good day

    Morning all, afternoon Pat. image

Loved the hare picture Pat! HRH looks just as cute with her new haircut, think I'd be zonked after a grooming session too! image

Chicky, hope the talk was interesting, share any pearls of wisdom please!

Fairy, I don't have any Hellebore's in my garden at all! image think I'm going to look into getting a couple for next year!

Obelixx and BusyL, glad power has been restored! Kitchen renovations sound as though they are progressing well Obelixx image

Have a nice time at tennis Dove, no overdoing it!

Topbird....you too! Dont do too much or this bug comes back!

Lilyp, I'd never grown a camellia before but rescued a no label dead stalk from the range two years ago and have it in a pot in a sheltered spot. It flowered last year and its a lovely buff cream colour image they really are lovely flowers aren't they!

Hosta, lucky you with those bargains! image

Lirio, well done with the pruning marathon! Not sure I'd like being an exhibition piece whilst at work either! You could have handed out tools to them all! image

PPam, hearing about your Labrador reminded me about our old family dog, Boss dog, a soft big black Lab. He was too affectionate to chase anything!

SGL, if we get fish and chips for dinner, you can babysit me anytime and I will sing when I wake if there's chips too! image

GWRS, hope you have some nice allotment weather today!

LG, the pergola may try and go up today, I'm going to need to find that Jasmine plant you suggested soon!

Pdoc, you decided between Kylie and OH yet for your island companion? I believe Kylie already has some shorts!

Yvie, lawn mowing!? No chance here it would be more like ploughing with all the rainwe have had!

Beausmum, I'm in for Kew too! image

Clari, we haven't forgotten you! If your at work looking in, hope the house renovations are shaping up well and that you and Reggie will be living in the lap of luxury soon!

If your looking in Bushman, hope your well and looking forward to some nice sunshine image

Did a marathon kitchen tidy yesterday, bought bits I need to make blind for the bedroom and have gathered sledgehammer and post knocking in thingy...(technical term) and am awaiting papa womble to advise and assist in pergola construction image watch this space! And maybe wish me luck! image

    Have a lovely day all!

    Morning peeps!

I've  been using my phone too for the last  month or so, but treated myself to a new tablet last week. Still getting used to finding my way round and think I might turn off predictive text  again lolimageimageimage

    Hi all.

Windy and wet, I suppose more than 2 gardening days would be too much to ask for.

    Seed sowing I think.

Don't get me thinking about those shorts WW, not good for my blood pressure.

    Have fun.

How can you lie there and think of England

Morning Hosta, Dove, Chicky, LilyP, Topbird, Fairy, BM, Wonky, SGL and Punkdoc (phew!) and everyone else yet to come - and hi Pat!

I think that's why it's so difficult to reply to everyone, if you're not one of the first few posting here in the morning.  But Fairy's suggestion of opening Forkers again, in a new tab, is BRILLIANT!!  Thank you.  I've done it and it makes all the difference - I can keep this open, and look back at previous pages on the other tab to my heart's content.  image

Glad you're both on the mend, LilyP and Topbird.  Now don't overdo it!

Dove and SGL - new technology...  image  ...hope you're better at mastering it than I am...

BM, I haven't looked for the Kew thread yet.  But I will... haven't been for maybe 45 years, about time I had another visit; and meeting some of you would be a bonus.  image

Wonky, don't forget the spirit level for constructing your pergola!  Looking forward to progress reports in due course...

Must scoot.  Got to help make a path in the park.  SYL  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Hahaha Beaus Mum...brilliant picture! If that doesn't sort Pdoc's pulse, don't know what will!

Still raining at the moment Lirio image I won't take a picture of that, think we are all only too familiar with what rain looks like by now! image
