Cup of tea for me too Clarice! I fell asleep on the sofa, now I'm part of the wide awake club with you and Hosta! The thing that keeps me awake is trying to get to sleep so I'm going to watch Monty on YouTube!
Hope everyone manages to get their zzz's! Night Pat, Clarice, Obelixx and Hosta
yes to the rain. It's only light drizzle, but good for soaking into parched ground (I wouldn't go as far as to call it "soil"). There has been a whole 6m since yesterday morning. We've had a total of 41mm in 5 days.the paddocks around the valley are greening up. Yay!
When we got home from town, there was a phone message from the woman next door. Would Hubby please come over and put one of her old wethers down. So, a quick cup of tea and he then got the .22 from the gun safe and he's gone again. It seems sometimes that he's the only one to call for computer problems, fire call outs, sickly animals, lonely 80 year old mates and a whole list of other things. Just as well he's a willing slave.
im thinking of changing the cotton sheets for flannelette ones. I can never guess when it's too soon to change them over. I'm in long sleeves again.
The day has dawned fine and almost sunny, and I'm watching bluetits popping in and out of their nestbox, but the weatherman said we're getting a chilly East wind off the North Sea and I can see a neighbours pampas grass being buffetted and bashed around Brrrrr!

been catching up on The Garden. Just checked to see my wages have gone into the bank.
That'd probably just get my blood pressure up Wonky.
Any more rain Pat? You're welcome to some of mine. I long for it to be dry enough to cut the grass
Been to town, so you're probably all asleep now.

6mm. Not 6m. Der!
Morning. Will be in long sleeves here for a while Pat.
Too early to stay up so will have a cuppa and aim for more sleep. Hope the others slept eventually.
Good morning all
G'day Pat

Morning Dove. Attempt at further sleep failed.
Morning Joyce - any possibility of a nap on the sofa after lunch?
