No Edd I've never had a passport, so not even been to NZ. I have been overseas to Tasmania though.image

Heres Hubby with the jackhammer working on the trench.

Here is the first bit of the pot cleaning. I've run out of steam now. Will get some more done soon.

we love the Ninja Warrior shows. Watch the U.S. ones all the time.

ps, you can call me Pat.

we don't have to have licences over here anymore for TV. We used to in the early days of TV.

We like the zucchinis steamed with our meals. I grow the Lebanese ones which are small and creamy.

it must be time for bed for you Edd. I've got to go out again for some more pots and trays.. catch you later.

Yeah, very funny. The small pots are now stacked and another lot have been spread out to dry. I'd like to see you dig a trench in our rocks/soil, Edd. We are on the side of a hill and all the soil has moved down to the river I think. The trench will only be deep enough to bury a 2" pipe from the tap to reach the bird bath and on the way  irrigate with sprinklers. The whole hot/dry thing has become too much for me nowadays, so he thought up this solution, should be good for next summer hopefully.

29c today I think. Shower predicted for tonight, but I don't believe them. We are just west of a mountain range which stops rain coming over from the coast.

The tree is a Eucalyptus - haven't bothered to work out which species. I need to collect buds, seed pods and leaves for identification. We have hundreds of Eucs on our place so I don't bother.

He used the jackhammer, not the bucket. The tractor is to transport the generator on the back platform. It's very heavy.image The trench is finished, and some of the pipe has been laid. He's even attached some of the sprinkler heads. I'm starting to get excited. Whooo!.

the clouds are arriving. I still don't believe the forecast.

    Hi all.

Feeling very sorry for myself this morning. Up most of the night with earache.

Sofa / bed day, need to watch the rugby.

Hope the rest of you are ok and that you all have a good day.

Hello again Edd image Hope you and the family are well. Yes I'm still around, Wonky too. Not in charge tho image ... That's Nora and Daniels job.  They couldn't pay me enough ... more difficult than herding catsimageI  ... And the less said about them on here the better ... Hosta's getting far too rich. image

Pdoc image   Sorry to hear your ear's still so painful - if it's bad enough to keep you awake wouldn't it be a good idea to see your GP and get some antibiotics? I'm not one who asks for them for every little thing, but a perforated eardrum is no joke image  You don't have to be extra brave just cos you're a medic you know image

Morning all, hope everyone's well. Sorry to hear about your earache punkdoc image. Need to look back and see if Wonky's pergola is progressing.

Not been on here much, been very busy at work. But of an emotional roller coaster this week - lots of really good bits but also very angry / upset about some aspects and struggling to keep my equilibrium in order to get everything done in a way that will allow me closure when I leave. Woke up very early this morning fretting. Sigh.

Think I need a bit of garden time to calm me down image.  The weather looks okay for today and I don't need to go out until 3... so you know where I'll be.
