I rang DD a couple of days ago, Lily P. She has a friend from England staying with her.
OH has booked another flight, less convenient though, on Saturday as it seems a lot of flights in the SW are affected by the strike. We won't know from RyanAir until this evening for tomorrow's flight.
Has been raining here too but at the moment it's not raining.
That photo!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
SGL, Know what you mean about this weather. We had about 2 - 3 weeks of dry weather when we got chucked out of The Gambia and it's rained almost every day since,at least for part of the day.
Even by Devon standards it's now " wet "
No chance of the camellias going in the ground any time soon.
Hair cut, phone retrieved and have a friend coming round for a cuppa shortly, so picked up some hot cross buns ( sorry DD, I'll try not to burn them ) Apple and cinnamon / cherry and almond. yummity yum yum.
I can't decide whether to use my three hours "me" time (starts in an hour) for a good run at the garden or go to the SM for a few things. As it's dry and sunny 'tho' cold, I think the garden may win.
Hosta, the Costa Clyde has been doing not too badly weather wise.
I will never look at gold hot pants in the same way. I feel a bit icky now.
Just made my first trip to GC this year, very restrained I know. I only went to buy some twine, but they had lots of perennials in 2l. pots at £4 each, it would have been rude not to.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
