Morning Joyce image  Hope the hail didn't do any damage.

Pat, I suspect that wet mud seems a positive improvement. image

    Morning all.

I too missed the nastiness. As fairy says " the ignore button is a wonderful thing"

Funny how there seems a common denominator in all the nastiness?????

Brilliant sunshine at 7.30. Downpour at 8 and now the sun is coming back out. Methinks,"one of those days"

Pdoc, please don't keep a low profile, this forum has  a few divisive members that need to be the most popular as a form of self validation it seems, very tempting to banter but unfortunately its retaliated with personal attacks. I hope all those on the receiving end knows how valued they are here! image

Glad you got back safely and had a nice time in Norfolk BusyL

Hosta, I'm trying to work out who you ignored to have missed the nastiness! Hmmm

Morning - nice sunny day - wet soil after rain - will probably try to do some more mulching.

Glad the nastiness and unpleasant personal attacks have been dealt with by the Mods. You're a better person than that Doc - rise above and ignore.

Glad the medical went well Chicky - I'm another one built for comfortimage

Hope you feel better today Obx.

OH had to camp at Troutbeck last night as Keswick camp site was still flooded and Glenridding looked closed. He was planning to walk up Helvellyn via Striding Edge today - but the forecast is for blizzards, severe wind chill and thunderstorms. He's going to photograph waterfalls and caves insteadimage

Morning Wonky, BL and the rest of you image

I've just been out and topped the bird feeders up .... my that wind is jolly chilly !!!!!! Brrrrrrr!!!  I imagine it'll be 'quite bracing' in the Lake District Topbird. image

I think that today will involve making a chicken and leek pie rather than playing in the garden - mind you, it's nice to see that the rain yesterday has raised the level of the pond just a bit.

Good morning everyone.  It is a beautiful sunny day here today.

Such a shame to see all has kicked off again.  I for one will miss the guys that have left.  I do understand  that that some are misunderstood but also I am quite clear on those who goad and hope they are happy with the results.

Off to plant dahlia tubers now?

Hi folks,  I did see the posts that made the mods intervene.  They were awful.  Glad they have been removed.  Life's too short for this nastiness, I do wish people would learn to get on.

Well it's a sunny day here, but I suspect it's colder than it looks.  Still in dressing gown so haven't ventured out.  Off to Secondborns this afternoon to start my marathon fornightly nanna duty and wont be back until Friday night.  She's still very poorly and suspect she wont last the 3 days at work.

Off to look at pinterest piccies of garden ponds, still have a hankering for one, but not sure I'd be able to pursuade hubby.  Also looking at a bit of a redesign of a border.  I think the wisteria that refuses to flower is on borrowed time.  I checked the buds on both of them yesterday and one is plastered with flower buds but the other just has leaf buds.  It's in a prime spot in the garden and obviously isn't appreciating it.  The redisign would include two Clematis (The President) and the one I've already ordered (Purpurea Plena Elegans).  I just need to decide on an evergreen shrub/climber that would separate the two against a south facing fence, any ideas?
