I would need sunscreen as well as toothpaste and reading glasses cos my arms are now too short to read without them.

Sorry Hosta.  I just don't know how long I'd last without being able to look stuff up! (my kids would probably hazard a guess at 30 seconds).

    Interesting answers?

I think our island will definitely have plenty shade in the middle with a waterfall ( fresh water) and gardening and vegetable opportunities

waters abundant with fresh fish, heaps of fresh fruit and sugar cane, no tablets phones allowed, but music is allowed?

did anyone see Joanna Lumley doing exactly this?

away to dream of my island where there is no coughing and everyone sleeps at least 8 hours?

The wind has been really bad. Electricity has been off most of the day. One of my huge Christmas trees planted in the early 90s has snapped in two and its trunk is sloping at an angle. As there was no electricity we asked our English friends in the village out to the Wok place for dinner. The electricity came on just as we left. But we had a good meal and a chat and the leccie is still on.

    Just read back.
I hope you feel better soon Topbird.

Thanks for telling me about your choirs, Liri. OH and I had a look at the website, sounds lovely. OH will be singing in the Messiah in April.

I like the sound of Lily P's island. If I take OH there would have to be WiFi, he was suffering today during the power cut and fixed the router to a car battery with some piece of kit he had for power cuts. Like Dove I would also want a comfy bed. A large towel too and toothpaste.

This is just an observation and may not actually be correct, but it seems to me that whenever nastiness and stirring is about, one persons name always seems to be present and has I believe been previously been banned for such behaviour.
