    sounds pretty grim in Westminster

2nd born been in touch and is ok. Terrible that we have to worry about our children in 2017

Just heard from son - I knew he was working in central London today - he drove over Westminster Bridge a few minutes before the incident - he's ok thank goodness, but the van they was using is stuck within the cordon - he has had to travel by tube to pick up his car and will be using that to transport the equipment ....  I'm so glad he phoned ...... phew!

But some people have suffered 'catastrophic injuries' and a woman has died image

Dove - I doubt if he planned it on his own or that no-one esle knew what he was up to and could have reported it.    Those poor French kids.

It's the anniversary of the attacks in Brussels last year.    Connections?  Coincidence?

Oh absolutely Obelixx - there will have been others involved in the planning etc.  And the description of the attacker kept saying that he was 'sturdily built' ... could he be wearing explosives?

If he had been wearing explosives they would probably exploded when he was shot?

Depending on where he was shot - but I've just seen film of what looked like the attacker on a stretcher with an abdominal wound with a dressing applied.  You could see his bare abdomen.
