    Hi all

Are we of any use for anything Clari?

Sunny and very windy here, am enjoying some light weeding and tidying, trying to identify planting spaces for a greenhouse full of plants.

Looks like male ducks may be good for something Pdoc! image

Afternoon Obelixx, your right, although I will be out there all seasons due to the cats insisting, scent and loveliness over evergreen I think! Wise advice from you and Dove, thanks image

No crabs at Southwold Topbird - far too refined image.  Two nice fillets of plaice tho' image

    Photos taken on phone.

After our picnic at the harbour mouth we went down through the boatyard to the fishermen's huts to get the fish.  Then we drove to the pier for ice cream (Mr Whippy 99s) then we lay on the beach in the lee of a breakwater and got really toasty in the sunshine.  The sky was the brightest blue it's been so image far this spring, and the sea was really calm - no waves, just lapping on the shore.

    A really lovely day out

Just back from shopping marathon - Sm, DIY store to collect floor tiles for annex, LIDL for soft fruit canes and Gamme Vert to collect some peanuts I ordered for the birds.  5€ a kilo now!  They'd better like them.

Now to cook a quick pasta dinner and then head off to dance class.

We wanted some clams to do spag vongole but not a lot and way to expensive so prans and tomatoes it is.   Good deal on lamb shoulders tho.    Treat for Possum when she next visits

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

     ...Perhaps I should explain.

There are some excellent fishermens' sheds (and one rather nice shed come restaurant) selling lots of lovely seafood at Southwold harbour.

We always try to get some crab when we go and Dove usually comes back with something fishy.image
